Lemon Myrtle BHA Refining Cleansing Oil reduces pore size and prevents and improves clogged pores.

This beautiful, gentle cleansing oil is nutritious and lightweight. It emulsifies with water to dissolve makeup, sunblock and natural skin grime. After rinsing, skin is left thoroughly cleansed with no residue.
Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia Citriodora) has been proven to decrease the pore index (outstanding pores, large pores, blackheads), improve inflamed blood capillaries and balance sebum production.
Kakadu Plum Oil (Terminalia ferdinandiana) is exceptionally high in linoleic acid which helps inhibit pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, and may help existing acne. Linoleic acid also helps to manage other types of inflammatory conditions, such as dermatitis and rosacea. One study found a 25% reduction in comedones size (pimples) over a one month treatment period using lineoleic acid.
Certified Organic Maroochy Nut (Macadamia ternifolia), also known as Queensland Nut Tree, is an Australian Indigenous plant that is exceptionally high in Omega-7. Sometimes called the 'Beauty Omega', it increases synthesis of elastin and collagen and helps to restore the skin's natural omega balance, protecting skin cells and supporting cellular health.
Maroochy Nut also contains high amounts of squalene and oleic acid that assist with cell regeneration. Squalene, with an 'e', (not to be confused with the synthesised Squalane with an 'a'), is naturally produced by the body with the sole purpose of keeping skin moisturised - and maroochy nuts are full of it!
And it also contains phytosterols for skin protection and repair, as well as useful amounts of manganese, which is an antioxidant and essential mineral required for collagen production.
Maroochy Nut fatty acids also have anti-inflammatory properties that are helpful for all skins, including acne-prone skins.
Although it is a rich oil, it is very light with a low comodogenic rating.
This cleansing oil is formulated with Salicylic Acid which helps to keep the pores cleared and refines skin texture.

DIRECTIONS
Use morning and night.
Gently massage in circular motions onto dry skin using fingertips. Rinse well with lukewarm water or wipe off with damp, warm muslin face cloth. Do not use around the eye area. This product is not suitable to use to remove mascara and eye make-up.
Contains Salicylic Acid - AVOID EYE AREA.
Suitable for acne-prone and oily skin, clogged skins and/or for lightly or heavily pigmented skin (melasma, age spots, acne scars).
Recommended for use on the face and acne-prone backs, or other areas where there is folliculitis (a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed.) If using as a body cleansing oil, massage into skin outside the shower and rinse clean in the shower.

Skin reactions
If you experience a skin reaction which you believe is related to use of one of our products, please take a photo and email us at hq@foundersformula.com.au. One in fifty people are sensitive to Vitamin C. If you are one of these people you will experience the reaction with your first occasion of use. Please return the full bottle less the single use with your receipt and place of purchase, and we will refund you the cost of postage and replace the product with one better suited to your skin type.
All our products are formulated for sensitive skin and thoroughly tested on our cohort of human individuals with a history of skin sensitivity (including our founder whose own skin sensitivity ignited her drive to understand skin care ingredients!). It is well known that some individuals will react to Vitamin C. If you have not experienced a reaction to other Vitamin C products you have used and believe this is the first Vitamin C product you have reacted to, it is likely that this is because those products were low in Vitamin C. Vitamin C is highly unstable, a characteristic consistent with its effectiveness as an anti-oxidant. Vitamin C breaks down as it binds quickly with oxidants, hence its brilliance as an anti-oxidant!
The Natural Vitamin C used in Founder's Formula products is derived from natural plant essences found in Kakadu Plum which are extracted from the plant using a ground breaking scientific technique pioneered in Australia. Kakadu Plum has more Vitamin C than any known plant on earth. The extraction method used ensures that the full plant profile is extracted resulting in a Vitamin C product that is bio-compatible and less likely to irritate than a Vitamin C created in a laboratory as pure ascorbic acid (pure Vitamin C).
