Australian Botanicals Brightening Facial Oils
Founder's Formula Brightening Facial Oils are the Super Stars of Australian Botanical nutrient-rich organic oils for brightening. They absorb deeply into the skin, refreshing cells, breaking up melanin clumps and delivering an even-toned, radiant skin.
WHAT IT DOES
- Brightens and supports even skin-tone
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines
- Mildly exfoliates
These oils support the skin matrix and brighten with great results if used consistently.
If you are using our Brightening Oils it is essential you wear an SPF50+ daily.
Certified Organic Maroochy Nut (Macadamia ternifolia) oil is rich in natural hydrating fatty acids, and especially rich in Omega 7. Known as 'The Beauty Omega', it occurs in salmon, sea buckthorne and macadamia and is essential to the manufacture of collagen. Maroochy Nut is an Australian native and is exceptionally rich in naturally occurring squalene, (not to be confused with the synthesised squalane), which the skin produces as its own natural moisturant.
Certified Organic Australian Native Snowflower Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) contains flavan-3-ol, a catechin with 100 times more potent antioxidant activity than Vitamin C and 25 times more potent than Vitamin E. Snowflower also contains quercetin which is a proven anti-inflammatory and an anti-oxidant surpassing even retonic acid. It also has high levels of kaempferol which serve to break up melanin for brightening.
Kakadu Plum Oil (Terminalia ferdinandiana) is rich in gallic acid which restores the skin barrier and ellagic acid which supports skin elasticity and suppleness. Gallic acid is also a natural anti-inflammatory that helps reduce redness and irritation.
Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum), like its Indian cousin, is highly prized in skin care. Rich in Omega 3, 6, 9, and the rare ximenynic acid. Ximenynic Acid has a significant impact on the skin aging process as it increases microcirculation, reduces enlarged pores and distension and discoloration of the skin and firms the skin.
Certified Organic Kangaroo Flower (Anigozanthos flavidus) in Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Oil is the perfect complement to these brightening oils, as it speeds up the cell renewal process, supporting new, fresh skin cells to work their way to the top.
Strawberry Gum Oil (Eucalyptus olida) is especially high in pro-aging anti-oxidant and hydrating phyto-actives with proven, strong anti-inflammatory and anti-fatigue activity.
The natural oils are supported by the addition of an oil-based Vitamin C Complex.
HOW TO USE IT
A little goes a long way. Apply 1-2 drops morning and night after, or instead of moisturiser.
Partner with Founder’s Formula Phyto-A+ Australian Native Tobacco to build collagen and Australian Botanicals Pro-Aging Treatment Serum for multiple pro-aging action; and/or with Founder’s Formula Wild-Harvested Kakadu Plum Vitamin C Serum for sun damaged or very pigmented or wrinkled skin.
For especially stubborn pigmentation, use FADE, Native Snowflower Dark Spot Serum as a spot treatment to complement the Australian Botanicals Brightening Facial Oils.
For best results apply in the following order: serums, then moisturiser, then oils. Apply SPF last.
If using more than one serum in your routine, it is fine to mix the serums before applying.
